In regards to sodium, why do all the foods have added salt. How does one request a low sodium diet. Even had boiled potatoes one time& noticed there was sodium added. Thanks.

There are never healthy options. Alway the same sandwitches and pre made packaged items. 
You could also provide chicken breast for lunch and set a limit of two per day per person.
There should be more left overs from dinner packaged up to take for lunch.  A better salad bar like they have at night would aslo be great. Not everything tossed into bins with sticky and dirty tonges and bins.

you guys should bring back burger night/poutine bar. anything where it's "Make your own" was always better than the pre-prepared meals. Also, English style fish always ends up soft and soggy, never crispy -- why bother breading the fish if that'll happen anyway?

In regards to healthy foods why is most of the food high in sodium even basic foods have added sodium such as boiled potatoes, rice, etc. High sodium diet greatly increases the risk of heart disease. Decrease the amount of sodium!

Suddenly plain yogurt and lemon wedges have been stopped recently in dinner. Yogurt is very much required with vegan food like dahl and rice. Lemon wedges goes well with meat items and is healthier with drinking water. Yesterday jasmine rice was half cooked. Suggest for breakfast to have  plain egg omlet with chopped onion, mushroom, salt, pepper, red chilli powder, turmeric.

I find the selection of food is minimal & the dinner meals try to be fancier than most of us care for.  Shift workers want simple, normal food.  The bag lunch selection is very difficult to make healthy day of (ie: chicken or tuna salads dripping in sauce, either broccoli OR cauliflower).  Most dinners I end up just having egg whites.  There are a lot of people with dietary needs & have been told what the weekly menu is.  That is not helpful. Many shift workers would like to have the leftover hot meats from dinner the previous day, chilled & set out as a lunch selection,  rather than getting scolded like children & having it thrown out if they are caught taking it from the hot side.  Recently it seems the hot side self-serve dinner is a duplicate of what you get in the main line.  This seems redundant.  A suggestion for the lunch side is simply shredded chicken with no dressing of any sort so that we can select what we want to flavour it.  Same with tuna salad.  Also, more plain & simple chicken, steak, turkey meals.  No fancy sauces.

Good afternoon

I experienced the “build your own” eggs benedict this morning, Sunday, Oct 28.  It was very inefficient and of poor quality.

The amount of time for each person to assemble their breakfast created a lineup that averaged between 10-15 people, and it took me 10 minutes of waiting for me to get my breakfast.

The quality of the food components was poor:
• The muffins were hard and cool to the touch, minimal evidence of butter/margarine
• The poached eggs were hard, with yolks solid – the preferred way would be the yolks to be liquid
• The ham was floating in a liquid that appeared greasy
• The Hollandaise sauce was almost empty, and I had to ask for a worker to get a new container.
• The worker was asked by 2 people to get a new container of poached eggs, as only a couple of lonely eggs were floating around just before it was my turn to build mine.
• The content containers were very close together, you had to wait until the person ahead moved to another item.  It got very crowded.  My hand was jostled by the person next in line when I was getting my muffins, which caused me to drop them on the floor, which created wasted food.

I do not see this approach to Eggs Benedict being effective.  Some suggestions:
• Have a server assemble the eggs for each person, with at least 2 servers in place to keep the line moving
• Space out the contents, and have at least 2 lines of contents, so there won’t be a production backlog.
• Train the cooks on how to prepare poached eggs so the yolks are liquid.

The food seletion in the lunch room has taken a deep slide down. It has been very difficult to find anything that sounds appealing to take most day upon my arrival May 31 2019. I and co-workers are finding the quality of the product being set up to be below par. I understand that CNRL is cutiing costs where possible, but when the food quality is affecting my work and my body health. Something needs to change. Also we have been tracking on how much of a sodium intake we are getting on site, via the nutrition info from your site. And we are consuming 2-3 times of the daily sodium intake at the supper meal. And thats taking in 2100 calories of food.
It prettty sad that myself and coworkers by day 3 could shit through the eye of a needle at 50 yards. From the meals we are getting.
Tim Hortons is on site and that should not have to be used to get something to eat, nor bringing up frozen meals to have at lunch during the day.

On Sept 19, 2019 at supper I was beening served by a young man and I asked for more Chinese BBQ Pork and the server said" If I give you more of Chinese BBQ Pork you can't have anymore of this other meat and I have to cut you off" I was some what taken a back with the comment. I've stayed in camps for a number of years and I've never had that been told to me before.

It is VERY hard to eat healthy at camp. Why is there a larger selection of cookies than vegetables?? Often the "salads" are covered in some unhealthy sauce and therefore unedible to a person on a diet. Also the soups could use some gluten free and dairy labelling because it can be hard to discern whats in them.

Suggestions:
Look at having wing night on Fridays or any night that you have fish ( your fish is usually not very good )
Place turkey burgers out for lunch instead of all beef burgers.
Try and stick with regular fries more often instead of the thin slices and thick meat eaters.

Suggestions:
Look at having wing night on Fridays or any night that you have fish ( your fish is usually not very good )
Place turkey burgers out for lunch instead of all beef burgers.
Try and stick with regular fries more often instead of the thin slices and thick meat eaters.

Every week on my return to work I clean my bathroom again & check to see if the sheets are actually tucked in or folded up at the bottom.  There is ALWAYS hairs in the shower. 
It also seems the plain lean protein selection for dinner & lunches has deteriorated.  ON the night there is fish, there is no other selection of meat.  IN the lunchroom, there is generally only tuna or chicken or turkey salad slathered with dressing or sauce of some sort.  I am a very simple eater & am having to go back to bringing my own source of protein to work every week.  Highly disappointing. The meal period selection below only allows for one, my statements apply to all.

No clean protein options. Just stale, multiple day old food. How are working people supposed to eat a nutritious diet when limited to sandwiches and 'open to air' pasta and inedible mash.

Just wondering if chicken wings can be added to the menu as a "treat" every once in awhile like Albian does. Also it seem that perogies only happen on weekends of when the 4X3 folks are gone.

Just a suggestion, the lodge should add 2 lines for the food. 1 to the food service and have a line maybe from the back side to have lunch.  Many people stand in line just to go to the lunch room witch is empty and everyone is waiting for the supper or breakfast line.  You have people freaking on each other when they pass everyone in line just to get lunch. Many angry people in line. Just a idea

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and now today Sunday it's been Beefaroni for lunch... 2 different types of Beefaroni most days. We even had it for supper one night. It's honestly just a joke at this point. Where's the variety of food????

Supper options of frozen boxed meatballs, frozen boxed salmon, and frozen boxed turkey burgers is horrible. Food quality is extremely low.

PLEASE make it possible to get egg whites and oatmeal without going through 2 lines. At the very least offer All Bran cereal. Line ups are too long to go through twice and there is no healthy carb option when going through the made to order egg line. All cereal offered is loaded with sugar. PLEASE

12 lbs bag lunch.. The soup should be the first thing in your lunch so it does not squash your sandwiches. That's why I liked two bags one for my sandwiches and one for soup and fruit.  I also would preferer the choice of fruit not fruit cups with canned fruit saturated in sugar. My other issue is house keeping, Twice they have taken my personal towel that I never got back,MISSED a room clean and keep turning off my thermostat so my drain even froze up this last time I had to run hot water to thaw it.

When I checked into my room there was no toilet paper. I therefore asked a worker for assistance and he told me there was nothing he could do and to go to the front desk. Front desk told me to wait in my room and that someone would bring it to me. After 2 hours of waiting I called front desk and they said they would send someone right away. I am still waiting 45 minutes later.
I recommend ESS improve it's ability to provide basic necessities to it's residents. Toilet paper isn't something I should have to wait over 3 hours for.
